		<description>I very much agree with your post, Peter. We already have enough ways to be reached (or marketed to) from both non profits and for profits. Sure, your message might be for a great cause, but your cause isn&#039;t the only great one out there, and I&#039;m already on info overload. If the message isn&#039;t coming from a friend or contact, I am unlikely to look at it with any special attention. Lately, a few people have DM&#039;d me on Twitter about &quot;x&quot; they are advertising. I find it so annoying that I don&#039;t just ignore them, I even block them. It&#039;s enough of a turn off to end that already casual relationship. In the end, you&#039;re right, it&#039;s about the value within the message, not forcing it down my feed.</description>
